Jessica’s diverse practice includes a broad range of commercial litigation matters. Her practice focuses on assisting clients with reinsurance and liability insurance coverage matters, including general liability and professional liability coverage issues. Her practice includes a focus on managing technology and media related disputes, security/data breach losses, healthcare entity risks and legal malpractice issues. Before joining KFP, Jessica worked at a Chicago based litigation firm, where she practiced in multiple areas of civil defense including reinsurance, insurance, construction, medical malpractice, nursing home care malpractice, premise liability, motor vehicle and trucking and municipal law. Jessica is an associate at KFP.
Education and Achievements
Jessica obtained her B.A. cum laude from Western Michigan University in 2003. She received her J.D. from The John Marshall Law School in 2007, where she was an Editor of The John Marshall Law Review. Her article, If you Love Me Dear, Please Sign Here: Will the “Love Contract” Play a Role in Protecting Employers From Sexual Harassment Liability?, 40 J. Marshall L. Rev. 311, was published in The John Marshall Law Review in 2007. She is a member of the bars of the state of Illinois and the Northern District of Illinois. Jessica is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the Women’s Bar Association of Illinois and is currently the Chair of the Women’s Bar Association of Illinois’ Community Outreach Committee.
